On the occasion of the 140th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” initiative on October 31, 2015. Under this programme, the framework of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat was also brought to life in Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Every year this competition is conducted in Kendriya Vidyalayas at cluster, divisional and national level. In Kendriya Vidyalaya Aurangabad also, under monthly activities, various activities and competitions are conducted every month in which there are genres like group singing, group dance, classical dance art etc. which indicate the respective state Tripura or Mizoram. Every month children enthusiastically participate in these activities and competitions and get acquainted with the art and culture of the respective state.
